Junior Golf Program

 2017 Junior Golf Program

As the summer months approach the golf professionals at Norfolk Golf Club have prepared a program to assist young golfers with their game or introduce new players to the game of golf.

The students DO NOT NEED to be a Junior Member or a relative of a member at Norfolk Golf Club.

The program will run on July 17 , 18, 20, 21, and 24
The program will be taught in two sessions:

  •  11 and over (intermediate players from 8:00am – 9:30am)
  •  10 and under (beginners from 10:00 am – 11:30am)

Cost: $165.00 per player

We have structured a program for 2 different levels of learning. Younger players will be taught the basic fundamentals along with basic rules of the game and course etiquette. Topics in this session will include club identification, grip, stance, set up, short game fundamentals and full swing instruction.

The intermediate group will be taught rules of the game, etiquette, productive practice drills and techniques, specialty shots, on course management, and individual strategy to practicing and playing.

For the final session July 24th, all participants will play a scramble event starting at 8:00 am. We will have a Pizza party and awards following the tournament in the clubhouse around 12:00.
